I almost want to have a sleepless night so I can sit in front of the TV at 3am and watch the endless stream of products that will change my life. They fascinate me. The middle-of-the-early-morning TV sells me things I didn't even know I wanted, but I suddenly I realize my life is incomplete without them.

Toe Part II

I was playing with different outfits yesterday. The challenge is its summer here, which means a) I'm going to miss half of it because I'm wearing a ski boot in the wrong season and b) it's a little hot and humid to be wearing long pants every day. Central Park Spring 2010
Spring is taunting us here. One day it's 11 degrees celsius, the next it plummets back to minus 1. The birds sing one morning then bury their head under their wing the second morning. The snow has melted in the parks but still lingers around the fountains and ponds. I feel like the back of winter has broken, but spring is far from rearing its colorful head.

Although we are still in the depths of winter, spring has sprung along Park Avenue. Artist Will Ryman has "planted" 38 of his rose sculptures along the centre of the avenue. Made of fiberglass, they are huge - up to 25 feet in height - and come resplendent with lady birds, ants and fallen petals. The jury is still out for me. But hey. Any color is good color in winter, right?
